Purpose: This Pillar provides students with the foundational tools to engage in the perspective of a given social science discipline. It exposes the scope and methods of different fields, helping students understand how societies think about problems.
Focus: Students learn the types of questions each discipline asks, why they are important, and the methods used to answer them, all while analyzing historical and cultural contexts.
